The National Ballet was founded in 1948 by founder/director, Helen Moore. The National Ballet is Maryland's oldest professional ballet company. It's conveniently located in Bowie/Crofton, Maryland, central to Baltimore, Washington, and Annapolis. The National Ballet School (NBS) is the official ballet school of the National Ballet Company (NBC). The National Ballet is dedicated to providing affordable arts education and performances for the community to enjoy.
