Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri L J has been involved with music since the age of 8. Coming from a musically inclined family, L J joined choir in middle school his 6th grade year. Being in choir for ten years L J fell in love with music. But it wasn’t until he heard recording artist biggie smalls that he started to pay attention to the hip hop culture.
