Scott Beal is a poet, performer, and educator in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and the author of Wait 'Til You Have Real Problems (Dzanc Books, 2014). His poems have appeared in Rattle, Muzzle, Prairie Schooner, Beloit Poetry Journal, Southern Indiana Review, and many other journals. He teaches in the Sweetland Center for Writing at the University of Michigan and leads poetry and fiction workshops for students of all ages. He co-hosts the Skazat! reading series in Ann Arbor.
