In 1990, Gary Anderson founded Plowshares Theatre Company with Michael Garza. The name of the theatre company is synonymous with its mission: Plowshares is dedicated to “breaking new ground:” nurturing emerging talent, providing challenging opportunities to local artists and producing new works for discerning patrons. For that, Plowshares has received unprecedented regional and national recognition.
