The Studio 180 “combo” classes are a wonderful way for our youngest students to experience dance for the first time! Our 45 minute classes are for 3 & 4 year old dancers with class time split between ballet and tap. Aerial dance is open to any dancers ages 5 and up. Our pre-aerial program offers 30 minute classes for dancers 5-6 years old, and our general aerial program offers classes ranging from 60- 90 minutes in length for dancers 7 -adult. Aerial classes are offered at beginner, intermediate, advanced, and adult levels depending on the dancer’s age and mastery of the discipline. Lyrical dance encourages dancers to tell a story through their movement using the lyrics of a song. It often incorporates balletic and jazzy movements and has become increasingly more popular as a result of television shows such as “So You Think You Can Dance.” It is a great class for dancers to take to learn how to creatively express themselves through movement.
